Arendal (Norway) The IOM representative K. Mianowicz took part in the GeoHab 2024 conference held in Arendal on 6-10 May 2024, presenting the talk Habitat mapping as a management tool for the projected exploitation activities in the IOM’s license area in the Clarion-Clipperton Zone. The GeoHab conference is the annual event focusing on Marine Geological and Biological Habitat Mapping and enables discussions and fosters cooperation among marine scientists studying and mapping geophysical, biophysical and geomorphic indicators of benthic communities, species diversity and distribution.
