The 77th Council of Interoceanmetal Joint Organization

Szczecin (Poland) The 77th IOM Council meeting took place from 29 November to 3 December 2021 in Szczecin, with some participants taking part in a video conference form. The IOM Council meeting was chaired by Mr. P. Kavina, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Czech Republic. The topic of the meeting was organizational, legal and scientific issues related to the activities of IOM. Plenipotentiary Representative of the Slovak Republic was appointed Chairman of the IOM Council for the next 2-year period on the basis of the rotation principle. C. M. Labanino from Cuba was appointed a member of the Audit Committee for the next 3 years. During the meeting, the Director General’s report on the activities of the organization was presented, the work plan and budget for 2022 were approved.

The next meeting of the Council will take place in Czechia, Prague, from 6 to 10 June 2022.
