Szczecin (Poland) Regarding the situation with the Covid-19 pandemic and border restrictions imposed by states, the 76th Council of the Interoceanmetal Joint Organization was organized from 28 to 29 June 2021 in a hybrid form (some plenipotentiaries participated online). The meeting was attended by plenipotentiaries and delegates of the IOM member states. Mr. Andrey Gagelgants, Plenipotentiary Representative of Russia, served as Chairman of the Council. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Secretary of State, Chief National Geologist and Government Plenipotentiary for State Raw Material Policy Piotr Dziadzio.
During the meeting, relevant issues were discussed, including the preliminary budget for 2022. The Council approved the Report of the General Director on IOM’s activities for the previous year. Based on the Act of the Audit Committee, the Council approved the financial activities of IOM for the previous 2 years.
The next meeting of the Council will take place in Poland, Szczecin, from 29 November to 3 December 2021, depending on the situation with the Covid 19 pandemic.
